Description
FACEBOOK TUMBLR My first piece done solely with watercolour paint! This will be the cover for a magazine in a few months. They asked me to work as abstract as I could, and with the themes of 'looking back' and 'saying goodbye'. The process of applying drops of water to the hair section was extremely tedious, but I found that holding a hair-blower over it gave much better control over the distribution of the color. More of this soon!

How did you achieve the white lines, with the help of masking fluid or grooves in the watercolour paper?

I used a white gel pen after the paint had dried. Works like magic!
