Description A Banshee, combing her pale hair with a silver comb. It is said one should not pick up a silver comb if one finds one lying on the ground -- it might be a lure from the Banshee. This one would stand around 8 inches tall. In Kato Polyclay and washi paper.

.................wow.  She's beautiful.  I'm Irish so I really love this representation.  In case you didn't know, if you were to write her name in Irish it would be Bean Sidhe.  It's pronounced the same way as your phonetic English spelling but Irish utilizes a different phonetics that confounds the Anglicized tongue.  You need only look at my name to know.  So I googled Kato polyclay and now I'm really curious. Is there a book on how to use and mould it the way you have?  And did you mould the character in separate pieces like arms, legs, torso, etc, and then glued them together, or did you use a wire figure to model the clay onto.  It's really fascinating. I've always been intrigued with sculpture but it's such an expensive field but kato polyclay is relatively inexpensive. I could definitely afford to try this.

I have seen your work for years and am a huge fan. I was upset I lost out on a beautiful mermaid sculpture a few years ago on eBaY that you had up for auction. Grr! She is gorgeous and everything you do it amazing. I can never get tired of looking at a Forest Rogers sculpt! Just amazing! Always fluid.

Beautiful and ethereal. Her hair and clothes seem to be blowing in a chill wind. She seems a quieter variety of Banshee.
Ah, so I'll be on the lookout for silver combs. But what if now she disguises it as something else> Or is she restricted to combs?
