Like the commenter before me said, try a higher f stop and a longer exposure. I wish that the trees in the back were more in focus, but other than that I think it's great.

From a critical standpoint I must say over all this photo is nearly perfect. You have a solid handle on how to take landscape photos. But no photo is truly perfect. I would make two suggestions to help you improve the photo. One, is minor, the horizon on the right hand side of the photo is slightly higher than on the left. That could easily be fixed at the time of the shot, or in post. Sometimes you just don't notice stuff like that. I find in landscapes, a perfectly level horizon helps.

My second comment is trying something new. Not necessarily in relation to this photo, by try using an aperture number around f/22 when shooting landscapes. This one looks excellent, but I wonder what this would have looked like if you shot it with f/22 instead of f/4.5. Just give that a shot next time you're shooting something like this. You will need a tripod to shoot with a aperture that small though, so keep that in mind. Shooting longer exposures also tends to bump the contrast up, which this photo might benefit from. In this photos case maybe only +3-4 which is super minor, but it's a thought that keeps bouncing in my head.

I give you this feedback hoping you understand that this is an exceptional photo, worthy of a spot on a gallery wall. It is excellent. I only give you my nit picks because everyone can improve, and if they never hear how, they don't know where to start. Great use of rule of thirds, balance, leading lines, colors, and I can tell by the results you're very comfortable using your camera.

I noticed another commenter asked you to crop from the top. I would not recommend that. Doing so may erode the perfect balance you have. If you felt it was necessary I would only suggest maybe 3-5% off the top, no more. But I personally like it as is in regards to size.

First of all thank you very much for your constructive feedback.

I am very happy with it.

Second, I am writing this on a phone..... Happy that there aren't too many mistakes/autocorrect failures. I am coming back on your comment shortly when I can access normal keyboard....

This is truly a great photo, I like the ground balance but try to capture less dead space ( in this care would be the portion of blue sky at the top). Also I like the angle, you focused equally on the road and the lake side of the scenery, which makes the photo more interesting than focusing only on one part. The colors and the sunset are great and the fact that your focus point (the sunset) is right in the middle and not very close lets you admire the whole photo.

All in all you've done a very good work here, keep it up

First of all thank you so much for the extensive review.

I tried to answer sooner but I had my telephone with me and that was no success.

I will try to crop the photo a bit on the top. I tried it allready a bit by scrolling down the page and I saw what you mean.

The photo gets stronger by getting some of the "dead space" out of it.

Again thank you and glad you like the photo.

Great stuff! I like it there are some tiny clouds to fill the emptyness of the sky and the mirror reflections on the water!

Thank you very much. The tiny clouds are indeed an addition otherwise the emptyness could be overwelming
