Nice! I really liked those abilities you added at the end. It’s helps give people a feel for what he can really do. Which is kick ass!
He looks liked hed make for for a great dragon born and be fit for a DnD campaign.
I cant remember how it worked but does Ralthar have the same naming convention as Volk? Do all dragons have the same naming convention in your world or is it clan specific?

Thank you! I thought it was a nice touch to flesh him out a bit better with his abilities. It's inspired by RPG games like DnD, indeed, and also videogames. ^^
Well, Ralthar comes from a different part of the world and he grew up in a culture very different from Vol's. I was thinking whether to give him the same naming convention. At the end I decided against it, and let him be just that bit different from my black dragon. Which I think is good because it adds diversity.

Np!
A little bit diversity is nice. It would be pretty limiting too if all the dragons had to
follow the same naming conventions and whatnot. Plus I suppose it would be strange
if all dragons were exactly the same when it came down to it. Aside from names is their any
other major differences between them?

Yeah, the limiting factor has made me reconsider the naming convention for Vol as well.
Well, Ralthar is more warrior-like, whereas Kaal can cast magic. Ralthar is also pure fire while Kaal is actually dual element. I say he's a fire dragon, but he's actually a thunder dragon as well (I mean, he IS called Thunder after all). It's something I want to leave as a mysterious and interesting tidbit for him.
As far as culture goes, Ralthar isn't that obsessed with gold hahah. He's more obsessed with might and battle, with destroying anything that dares oppose him, that's his pride and the pride of his clan. Clothing is different, as well as armor, though I've yet to design it.

Normally what I do with names at least for dragons is give them
all the same word ending based on their color. Other than that anything
goes for the beginning of the name though I normally try and have it
related to what they do or what that color represents.
I wonder what would happen if those two met?
Can't wait to see what his outfit will look like! I know for me I take forever
to up with something haha.

That's pretty cool, takes off some of the pressure of finding a good name as well.
I don't have anything planned for them, but it'd certainly be interesting to see what'd happen.
Actually I have some ideas already for his outfit. But it's taking me long to figure out how to work with them. I thought of chains. Something leathery maybe, perhaps with fur. Or just all metal. Two pauldrons with spikes. Something intimidating that doesn't restrict movement.

When it comes to armor the possibility is endless. usually when im in a
pickle I'll look at some armor sets from video games and mash a few of the
designs together to give me an idea.

Ah yes, I take some inspiration from games, but I try to avoid it because I want to come up with something of my own.

I know that feeling. I think the only time I ever get anything
original that I really like is when I dream it but thats mostly
places rather than outfits.

Hah well thank you.
First thing I thought of when making the lineart was that the axe could very well pass off as a metal guitar, or he could have a mic on his hand instead.
