The witch's curse - Prologue
Everything seemed normal and boring as usual, nothing warned the male for the upcoming events. As Ornstein did his daily choirs around the house he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned around annoyed he noticed Caradoc standing close to him, visibly frustrated and hold a sketchpad in his hand. On the paper was written a short message.
“Hello Ornstein” the smaller bisharp awkwardly tried to avoid eye contact with him.
“What the hell is this supposed to be? Now don't talk to me directly?” huffed Ornstein irritated, whereof Caradoc flinched, then quickly shook his head and scribbled something down.
“Nono! There is nothing like that. I was cursed by a witch and took away my voice.” The large male read the text, staring at the other, then finally came to a conclusion.
“Don't be ridiculous! If this is just a stupid prank, then you're outta luck. Get back when you finally act like an adult.” suddenly he was punched in the shoulder. Caradoc frowned and stomped with his hoof angry, then shoved a new message into his face.
“THIS IS NOT A PRANK! I'M REALLY CURSED AND IT WONT BREAK UNTIL I TELL MY FEELINGS FOR SOMEONE I REALLY LIKE!” glared upon him angry, yet his cheeks were red. Ornstein raised his arm in retaliation, but reading his message he stopped and raised a brow.
“Then why the hell you came to me? I'm the worst person to ask about ladies. Go and bother someone else with it.”
“But I need your help...” Caradoc lowered his eyes shyly, his feet slightly trembled, but tried to hide it. Deep inside he was scared, yet he knew this is his only chance to break the curse. Seeing how miserable he looked Ornstein let out a frown.
“Fine, fine, dammit... Who is this girl you looking after? Maybe if ya ask her out for the evening that might help.” Caradoc blushed more as he replied.
“I... never asked this person out before. I was afraid it will hate me if I tell my feelings.”
“Geee this is why you are a spineless brat” snapped Ornstein and rubbed his temples as he tried to remain calm “You will never known until you not try and tell her. Worst comes worst she will reject you but might remain friends.” advised the male, yet neither he had any kind of idea how to talk with ladies. Caradoc listened him a bit startled. He knew his friend is right, but still... he was afraid of the consequences.
“Okay. Then I will tell my feelings to that person.” he changed to a new page when the pen in his hand began to tremble. He had no idea how to start it without sounding like a total idiot. In the end he just whimpered and hid his face with the pad. Seeing his struggle Ornstein frowned.
“You don't have to write a damn essay, just enough to get your message out.” he stepped closer to Caradoc and touched his pen holding hand to keep it stable “Here, I help you write it.” the bisharp glared upon him surprised and his whole face was red for now. This was too much, his poor heart wanted to jump out of his chest. He wanted to just run away before he screw things up, yet he needed to try. There was no way to turn back. He took a deep sigh and started writing.
“I remember our relationship didn't start easy. Everything was new and weird, and I was afraid I might do something stupid out of control. But as time passed and slowly got to now you better I finally opened up little by little and wasn't scared anymore. And this all was thanks to you. I never wanted to admit it, but for a while now I have a weird feeling in my chest whenever you're close to me. And, possibly my sorry butt will be kicked for this later, but I want to tell I like you. More than a friend, more than everything in this weird, yet nice way.” as he wrote his head burnt up even more, sometimes glanced over the shoulder to see Ornstein's reactions. The tall male glared at the note card in silence.
“Is this for Miss Sadie?” wondered a bit confused “I never thought she's this aggressive, but this is good so far. Good luck, kid.” said and patted Caradoc's shoulder. The bisharp glared at him dumbfounded. Why the other has to make things even harder? He quickly shook his head, took out the message and quickly scribbled on a fresh note.
“It's not for Miss Sadie! Indeed she's a nice mon, but nothing more.” then he looked at the letter in his free hand. Hesitated, then let out a sharp sigh and pressed it against Ornstein's chest. The male sighed and took the paper. As he read it he realized this was the same letter they wrote together. Confusion appeared on his face. What the hell this supposed to be?
“Why the hell you give this to me?” snapped. Caradoc shyly lowered his head, the pen trembled in his hand as he wrote down his next message and hid his face behind the sketchpad when he showed it up.
“Because... its you. I wrote the letter for you.” he just stood there with red face as he waited for any kind of reaction. Deep inside he already regretted everything he wrote down, but he just couldn't reverse this anymore. He needed to do this or he never get his voice back and something horrible might happen with him. He was sure he’s doomed now for this stupid stunt he had done. Ornstein's eyes grew wide in shock as he stood there in silent. His fist tightened on the paper before he socked the other on the head.
“You just fucking kidding me, right?!” shouted angry “I should have know this is just a damn prank to make an idiot out of me! Get lost whelp or I beat you to a pulp!” Ornstein extended his blades to prove he's not kidding. He was really pissed of this stupid joke the other dared to play with him. Caradoc whined when he was bashed on the helmet and tottered. Hearing the growl he quickly shook his head and made a step behind, trying to calm the raging bisharp.
“Wait. I would never joke something like this.” wrote it on the note. He didn't want to fight against the other.
“Bullshit! The idea of two males being intimate together is a joke within itself! Its Unnatural!” snapped Ornstein baring his teeth “You're not making me a fool, so get lost or I you will regret it!” the male showed his blades, ready to attack the other “ONE... TWO...”
Caradoc glared at him, astonished by his reaction. He was kinda sure the other might react like this, but this was worse he imagined. Ornstein doesn't understand. He needed to do this or... or something bad will happen. Seeing how aggressive the bisharp behaved and literally rejected this insane, and in some way disgusting idea the smaller one lowered his head defeated and made some wobbling step behind as he gestured Ornstein to chill. Ornstein let out an irritated huff as he saw the other male back off slowly. For once this fucking idiot listened him.
“Go find someone else for your fucking prank.” growled before he turned his back to the small male and started to walk away.
Caradoc staid there, astonished and broken, his teeth merged into his lips. He failed. He tried to tell what he truly feels but failed. He felt humiliated, sad and ashamed at the same time, dreading of the consequences. Ornstein felt the sketchpad hitting his back. When he turned with a snarl he saw Caradoc storming away, vanishing in the vegetation. On the dirty paper he spotted a small message.
“I never wanted to fool you.”
