Very nicely composed shot. I think the angular window balances perfectly with the wheel and I like how the body of the cart breaks the horizontal lines of the boards.
Great textures and tones too.

i much prefer this shot to the window only shot which is similar. I feel the cart balances and contextualises the piece.

The darkening out to the edges detracts from the composition on a great image.

This isn't grey-scale, is it? I am guessing it has either just had the contrast reduced, or de-saturated. Eitherway, I think the effect actually brings out the texture of the timber weatherboards, faded paint and cart.
As Digi-Rocker hinted, I would also like to see more of what is to the left of the window. I don't know what it is, but I just want to see what is not there!

It's desaturated, and a sepia "wash"....

Since I don't have a subscription, but you want a critique, can I offer some constructive critizism?

You could do with having the cart being less dominant (not so central, and more in the bottom right hand corner). I realize that this might have been difficult, as you were on the way to somewhere else, but if you were to take it from an angle looking back on the scene, the perspective would make the cart smaller. However, this would also make the window less square against the camera, so maybe I'm just talking bullsh*t ^^'.

Other than that, the grey-scale works really effectively, and the lighting works well too. Great work! (better than I could ever do xD)

Thank you... I was a wee bit limited in that I was shooting from a public road, but you make valid points. I may revisit it later.

Yeah. Were you in a car at the time too? 'cause I hate it when that happens, like you're in the car, and there's a really good shot coming up, but you can't open the window 'cause otherwise everyone's ears pop, so you take the photo from behind the window, which makes it unclear...

But obviously that didn't affect your photo, 'cause you get really good quality photos XD
