I've been listening to a lot of Riverside the last few days... they are definitely worth a listen.

Most things decay in a matter of days, the product is sold, the memory fades...crushed like a rose, in a river flow, I am I know...

Fucking amazing song! One of the top 3 greatest songs on earth!

Oh, and the picture is also quite good.

There is no such thing as a poor Porcupione Tree song. Indeed, thres no such thing as a bad song when Steve Wilson has anything to do with it. A lot of my images have PT inspired titles, or are inspired by PT songs. Other acts I have used as influences include Roger Waters, King Crimson, Nine Inch Nails and Pink Floyd.

Totally agree. There is really no such thing as a bad Porcupine Tree song. Except maybe 'Lazarus', in fact not "maybe", 'Lazarus' is their one song that just doesn't sound like a PT song. But that doesn't make my love any less for them.

Oh, and 'Russia on ice' is just... ...their best song, in my opinion.

And Roger Waters and Pink Floyd are pure love! I am actually about to meet these people in a few months when I'd be in London. At least, I hope to.

I have heard 'Fallen Angel' by King Crimson, and I really did like it-but that's pretty much all I've heard. Never heard of 'Nince Inch Nails' though. =/

Nine Inch Nails ([link] )

My preference is for their sadder, slower material. The Great Below, La Mer, Only, Hurt, The Day the Whole World Went Away... there is lots of their stuff on YouTube, too... well worth checking out.

Thank you for the link. I listened to their song 'Hurt', was quite good, I should check more of them soon. Thanks.
