A re-work of my new year's angel for this year. I wanted to create a more "clothed" version for a commission I had just received.This one is unique in the sense that it's the first time I took my copics out for a spin on a finished piece. All in all, I was really pleased with the types of values I was able to get out of them.
Much love to my girlfriend, for the copic markers, BTW.

Thanks! My wings still need a lot of work, but I like how those turned out. When you look at it up close, they have a very rough look to them when compared to the rest of the piece. It actually worked for that particular drawing.

Thank you! Usually, when I do my angels, they're usually in pencil. That's the first time I've tried to do an inked/copic markers.
When I do an angel for the new year, I usually give it a theme. Usually, they're kind of greek-goddess inspired, but this one had really no particular theme this time around.
More then anything, I tried to give her a feeling of solidarity. Hope that answers your question?

For the most part. I pretty much like any fantasy creatures. I like to make my own characters.
