Description Hello Spidey! My all-time favorite superhero! I really love this character- in some ways Peter Parker's life is like my own, especially when it comes to living the life I want. Sometimes I want to escape my responsibilities, because they keep me from doing what I want...but when these same responsibilities stare me in the face, all I can do is accept them, and do what I can, because that is what makes me a hero in my own right. Right?

Well, I really want to brush up on my anatomy lessons (I just read whatever reference I can find at home). Maybe I used too much blur, because I can't make him blend in the way I want to. Maybe I'll rework it, but for now here's my tribute to Stan Lee (and maybe Alex Ross, the greatest watercolor artist of all time!)

Call me whatever you like just except "nerdie". I've had enough of that in H.S.

I saw Kay at the DaVinci Code Discussion Forum held at the 2nd floor of Powerbooks GB (yesterday). It was kinda fun, because later in the event some guy from a Protestant sect was trying to argue with Mr. Jaime Licauco, the moderator. Licauco was trying to explain that the event wasn't a conversion group of some sort but simply a meeting of minds, but the poor, misinformed guy just kept hammering his arguments. Tsk, tsk.

oh, tsk tsk, indeed. What made the guy think it was (a conversion group)?

"Sometimes I want to escape my responsibilities, because they keep me from doing what I want...but when these same responsibilities stare me in the face, all I can do is accept them, and do what I can, because that is what makes me a hero in my own right...". Hey, sounds like me not wanting to do my homework in favour of producing more deviations, haha! I would like to think that makes me a hero, but my lecturer is likely to think otherwise, and he has the great power to enforce my great responsibility!

Nice work, keep it coming!

Thanks for appreciating! Well, maybe your lecturer represents uncle Ben, or vice-versa, whatever. We both know teachers/profs tend to go in that direction. They do have a certain amount of influence over us puny students. Hehe. But sometimes there are those who surpass them, could be because of inspiration or resentment...either way, teachers facilitate our growth whether we like it or not. Heck even strangers in DA have the same effect over me. I learn a lot from people like you. So keep giving comments, please. Maybe you can help me improve.

Thanks, I need to refine my structure-building skills. I became lazy that's why I just used lighting effects for the skyline and simple acrylic brushing for the lower levels. I need to improve on my technique with airbrushing clouds or surfaces. Maybe when I get a wacom late this year. My hand's so stiff with the mouse.
