Description Didn't have as many drawings for this one. The sword he uses takes up a ton of space as it is.

Theo Aromevano:

Age: 24

Primary Weapons: Sword (Deihamat), bracers/fists

Theo's sword, called a 'Deihamat' is a very unusual weapon. Young acolytes are given a scale from the god Heiavian, which is cultivated for several years until a bond forms between the bearer and the scale. Only then is it forged within an obsidian blade and crafted into a weapon. The result is an extremely heavy blade, far too heavy to be carried or used under normal circumstances. Most people couldn't even lift it off the ground. But the bond formed with the user allows them to carry it.

That said, using it is still quite dangerous. Being able to actually swing the weapon requires immense focus to draw power from the blade. Swinging it recklessly causes serious wear and tear on the user. Once mastered, however, it has the potential to cut through anything. People say it could split the sky.

Preferred Environment: Prefers the open air and is fine with both rain and direct sunlight, but doesn’t like humidity.

Preferred Food: Theo has an almost inhuman tolerance for spicy food.

Cooking Skill: Theo is well-versed in the dishes from his home island, but doesn’t really know what to do with a lot of ingredients, many of which he’s never heard of.

Personality: On the surface, Theo has a very polite personality; a caring and generous soul. Within his order, he was taught to be strong and helpful. He also learned to be honest and not be afraid to change. This has cultivated in Theo a strong opposition to people unable to be reasonable. If someone crosses the line, he has been taught to act swiftly in self defense. While he understands what to do Theo has never really had to deal with open hostility before. He's used to having all the answers when it comes to dealing with people. This can manifest in an unhealthy way in bad situations. It takes a strong will to keep him in line and hold on to the kind person he normally is.

Place of Birth: Theo's people are known only in legend. They live on an island cut off from the decay that permeates the rest of the world. Legend holds that it may be possible to sail to this place, and many people die each year attempting to make the journey, hoping to find paradise. For many ages they have existed in this place, set aside by Heiavian to await his return. Their order studies the use of his power and cultivates strong warriors, but their purpose is not fully understood. They only know they are waiting for something.

Theo has been sent to the mainland, with a letter inviting him to see someone very important there. The only possible reason to contact his people would have to be in regard to Heiavian, but there seems to be more to it than that.

Sasha: While on his way to Ortea, Theo's boat becomes stuck temporarily when some debris gets jammed in its propulsion system. When he pulls the rest of the debris from the water her finds Sasha wrapped in chains and somehow, still alive. Sasha might be abrasive and even abusive, but she refuses to simply be taken home. Having lived such an easy life away from the suffering of the rest of the world, he has only sympathy for her. Theo finds himself relying on what she knows about the mainland, its culture and laws, and its artificial environment.

The End of the World: Upon reaching the mainland, Theo finds himself faced with a serious problem. The legends of his people don't merely describe a mysterious people living in a paradise. The appearance of his people is said to signal the encroaching end of the world. People believe he is a messenger of destruction, there to exact judgment upon their world. This not only puts his life in danger, but presents him with grave doubts about why he exists. Only the one who summoned him to the mainland can answer his questions, if he can make it there alive.

Theo's Mark: Despite looking like a tattoo, the mark Theo wears actually occurs naturally on his people; a divine message etched into their being. Its precise meaning has many interpretations, but the mark is said to represent Heiavian. Theo's mark appears upside down. Its orientation changes from person to person, some bearing it at an angle or over one shoulder. There is no believed significance to this variation.

Additional Information:

* Theo's education was fairly limited due to where he grew up. All he has is his strength, but he was taught to be curious about everything. While it can get on peoples' nerves, it has a way of making people feel valued that ingratiates him with his companions.

* Though normally pretty guileless, Theo tends to perk up and use humor or sarcasm when people are feeling off.

It doesn't really stick out like that all the time. As seen in the image on the far left, it just sort of falls in front of one side of his face or the other, though it's worth making a joke occasionally about how it always seems to be the most convenient side of his face.
