Federation Base X-RayRuysch finished his check on the ore processors, and cleared security before dark. After a somewhat precarious landing, he placed “Buster” in standby mode, and exited the ship. He kept thinking: 18 months. That’s all! Then the Federation will release me and I’ll be a free man again! But what if they decide to leave me on this miserable rock, after I finish my sentence? No! They wouldn’t do that! Would they? Especially if I tell them about the ore. The detection unit indicated it was extremely valuable! They would have to cut a deal with me; to know the location...right? He stopped and looked up at the giant sleeping drone, pondered a minute, then smiled. For now “Buster”…it’s going to be our little secret…
