This poem has a pretty good rhythm to it, and rhymes are sound on point as well. The last three lines are off, even though I see what you tried to do and it was valiant attempt. However, I'm certain there was a better way to write that without having the poem lose it's rhythm.

Other than that, I think you have captured that feeling of a bogeyman story told to children. Like those messed up nursery rhymes with an obscure history. Short and sweet, this is well done.

Not really. But my counselor at the time did tell me of a girl who saw something similar in a cornfield. I just guessed it was Slenderman, who knows what it could have been
