Which is why thats the last painting you might ever see here XD;I was like DUH PAINTS CAN'T BE THAT HARD.
Was very wrong XD;
So yeah I totally dont get it , and markers are still my no. 1 fave traditional medium Q___Q
I drew Aire as NPC and his little creepy wolf thing from our game [link] (Here's some other characters animations XD )
But god... never agin.
Sorry for burning your eyes, will be scrapped later, just showing some life sign here and I didn't had anything better hehe *-*'
Very old and crappy poster paints used to make this XD; They are so old I dont even know the brand XD;

I feel your pain. Graphite, colored pencils, and markers mostly behave themselves. I like learning watercolor and gouache but they fight back all the time. Best advice: ignore advice.
For example, I now use gouache in transparent washes rather than the opaque way they were meant to be used. I also use both gouache and watercolor from dark-to-light nowadays, despite all the textbooks saying you *must* work light-to-dark when using watercolor. You can also pick up some glycerine from the local pharmacy and use that as a blending agent for watercolor. Glycerine makes watercolor more viscous and increases the drying time (workable time) by a factor of 2 or 3. If instead you add ox gall liquid to your water, watercolor paint will stain the paper more and act more like markers (but will still take longer to dry). But poster paint is a nightmare. Gouache is the professional non-student grade version of opaque water-based paint, and it's easier to work with.

Please don't post this as "oh man i suck at painting" because I try so hard to be good at painting and this is way above my level. So please, this is excellent. I wish I could paint like this. Talking about scraping it and how bad it is is kind of annoying and makes it sound like you're fishing for compliments. I'm sorry if that's not at all what you meant to do, but it's how it comes across.
