Story:

Time had gone by so fast and summer had already come to the Golden Meadows' Estate. Clara hadn't been able to take the trip up to Lappland as she had planned, and now the snow was long gone over there. She had beaten herself up for this, but when she heard about the endurance race in the Algonquin Park in Canada, she lit up like a child on christmas. This was a great opportunity to travel with Gillis and try on endurance. Unfortunately it was a one-horse race, so she didn't get to bring her packing horses. However, she was truly excited for this event, and wanted to get away as soon as she could. She had packed a tonne of things, including plenty of food, the tent, clothes and equipment for Gillis, her camera, a book to write in and many other things. As she went to load Gillis into the truck, her friends and colleagues came to say goodbye. Everyone were there; Helen, Isac, Benjamin, Vera, Rasmus, Rickard and a couple of horse owners and students. Helen went up to Clara and her horse and gave her a small teddybear.
"This is for you, as a good luck charm. If things get hard, just pick him up and remember that we are all supporting you!" she said, tearing up a little.
Clara laughed.
"Thank you Helen, I'm sure I'll be fine. I mean, it's just two days."
Rickard shook his head. He had always known that she was one tough girl with a lot of adventure in her, but he had thought that some day, she would grow out of it and realize that everything isn't so easy. Obviously, this wasn't the day either. He gave Clara a strong hug and said good luck, and the rest of the group followed his example.
"Come on guys, I really appreciate it, but it's not like I'm going to war! I'll be back in a week, you know that!" Clara smiled.
Benjamin chuckled.
"Oh, we know. It's just that some of us are able to think about things as danger and risks."
Clara stuck her tongue out and laughed.
Vera stroke the enormous horse on his neck.
"At least promise that you will be careful with Gillis." She said, trying to conceal her worries about the animal.
Clara dropped her smile.
"I promise, Vera. I know I'm not always the cleverest when it comes to risks, but I am going to do my best to keep him safe. For all it's worth, you know Gillis, he is one tough horse, he can take care of himself!"
Vera wasn't convinced, but as she had no say in this anyway, she just smiled, nodded and backed away. She didn't want to start a fight right when Clara was leaving.

Rasmus gave Clara a hug and said:
"You go over there and give them a fight! I know you can do it!"
Clara flexed her muscles and smiled.
"OF COURSE!"

As they had all said their good byes, Helen wanted a pre-departure picture and asked for Clara to pose with Gillis infront of the truck. Clara wanted to show how proud she was over her horse and looked up at him as she scratched the side of his head.

Then she loaded her great horse, checked that everything was in the truck and then drove off, waving goodbye to everyone at the driveway. When she had left the estate, she shouted:
"Let the adventure begin!"
