Description Hi everyone. I'm back with a new pencil drawing that I did for a customer in the UK. My customer commissioned this portrait for his wife around Christmas time. I've been so busy that I wasn't able to start it until a few weeks ago. I was very lucky that my customer was patient and accomodating throughout the whole process. My customer ordered this as a Christmas present for his wife, Gemma. He told me that Gemma was a fan of my work and she has followed me for quite a while so I really wanted to do a good job for both of them. The subject is their adorable little girl, Isabella. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out and I hope my customers are as well. Publicly I'd like to thank the Termini family for being so patient with me.

14"x20" Fabriano Hotpressed watercolor paper
3B, 7B, H, HB, 2H Derwent pencils
Blending stumps and tissues for shading
Approximately 35 hours

Tones are slightly off due to the fact that I had to photograph the drawing rather than scan. It was too big for the scanner and I didn't feel like stitching scans together.

Use Microsoft ICE. It is a free download and it will read and automatically stitch your partial scans together for you in seconds. That's all I use! Then I finish up with Photoshop.
