Nice one Gran. I do like the way you stick up for yourself, your secrets and the pricing of your work.

I personally find your pieces cute and affordable ^ ^ they certainly arent anything you'd find in $1 jewelry stores or anything like that! So the pricing is reasonable and understandable!
I plan to commission you sometime this Spring/Summer with an ideani have in mind ouo

I was wondering (and I know this differs person to person) but how do you get started on selling stuff online?
See, I want to sell some stuff (like plushies, magnets and maybe home made sketch books) but I'm pretty much clueless as to go about this. I know people use Etsy, but I want to keep the money and not have to pay fees (I'm pretty much broke and I want to avoid losing money so I can pay for bills and supplies). So I was wondering if you have any tips on how to sell online and how to collect the money (this is pretty much holding me back from getting my work out there and I thought I'd ask since you're pretty well known).

Yeah, I already read this journal hence why I came to you to get your views/experience on the topic.
Was worth a shot, I guess...

Ah, OK. Yeah, I figured there was a lot to it so I'm super hesitant to start it up.
Thanks for replying anyway though!

question: you know your iphone cases? well, it's my best friend's birthday soon, and i saw them and wanted one....but i can't afford them, soooo...i was wondering if it would be fine if i sort of made something similar to them? you know, like taking a case and putting the clay on it with the cute little charms. I understand if you don't want me too. thank you for your time!

I'm wondering how you keep your clay so clean! Is there a certain why you organize it, or something you put on it to get rid of dirt? My clay always ends up covered in either other clay crumbs, or in tiny little dust particles XD Even when I was my hands before working with clay, it still ends up all dirty!
Thank you!

Even if I don't see them on etsy, do you still make certain charms? Or after a certain point you stop? Just curious! Thanks!

GTP (do you mind if I call you that?), if I were to show you an item, would you be able to make something in that style?
I had a friend who used to make little charms, but they were smaller than what you make and were extremely adorable. I would love to find someone who could make them, being that my friend is no longer on dA.

Oh, I did not mean it like that. The look of the figure is already very similar to the way you make yours. I was meaning more of the size.
The way the charm was made, the head is almost the same size as the body. The legs and arms are very short.
I have an idea I would like to have done like that and thought maybe you would be up to making figures in that size. I will see if I can get the link to the item or at least photo the item for you to show you what I mean.

What do you use to color your shrinky dinks? I've heard colored pencils or markers work but I want to be sure.
