Poor little Starry Night… 
Still though, she looks amazing with great form and definition, all brought out by the hue of starlight and the intense glow of the candles. The starry if hazy sky and effect of the glass works very nicely too. Are those actual constellations and asterisms? (Even though I follow some astronomy sites it'd still take me an hour to figure it out myself.) Melting wax effect and color-constancy to make them burn brighter came out very nicely. Also, though it's a small thing, I really like that you made the pattern on the cushion conform to its shape, which I'm sure was somewhat painstaking with the bumps and folds as she puts a little extra weight on her forelegs to tilt her head up more.
You did an awesome job on her, the scene, and such a touching mood. It makes me really want to go sit with her, even if off by myself and not saying a word, so that at least she'd know she's not along. Thanks to you and Dusty-Onyx for sharing this deep moment with us.

As in the picture, she's counting the days since her dad passed away. For her imagination, she's thinking that which star or constellation that her dad has gone to, she'll draw it down on her bedroom wall. She'll never know that she is sick or depressed as long as she doesn't want to go to see the doctor. She prefers to stay warm in her room and that's why she doesn't like to go fly outside much.
I love the picture too. It's so touching and emotional
