Thanks a lot for your comment. I think indeed that women are not more neither less pure than men !
And artic landscapes always gave me a feeling of purity. A french song says : "je m'en irai dormir dans le paradis blanc -- I'll go to sleep in the white paradise" ; that was my feeling while painting this picture.
