Description Faithful (sort of) robot companion to BrainiACK! , this eXperimental Information Retrival unit assists the mad scientist in his plans to conquer the world (or not).

Another pin. This one is about 3" tall. Materials are simply nickel and circuit board. This and other designs are available for purchase from the jewelry catalog on my web site.

Thanks. He probably looks that way to you because of the bear-trap jaw. He's actually more confused than anything else. You see, BrainiACK! is an evil genius on a rather limited budget and made him out of obsolete parts. When XIR is peeved it's usually because he uses chocolate chip cookies for fuel but has no sense of taste. The horror!

haha yeah i saw this on your site. the name reminds me of GIR from Invader Zim... GIR/SIR. and even his structure does. so that's extra points for you, lol.

Yep, GIR was the source of inspiration for the name. I first had the idea for this mad scientist and later decided he needed a robot assistant. I couldn't think of a name for him at first then I thought the mad scientist is like Zim trying to take over the world and his bumbling robot was like GIR ("what's the 'G' stand for?"; "I don't knoooww.") so I cheated and made a quick swap with the first letter. I knew a Zim fan would catch me red-handed - it was only a matter of time.
