Description

Traveling at speeds in excess of 30 mph, 50 kph, the fields made up of many teams of bicycle racers. They blur pass their devoted fans lining the road. This was the Pepsi Tour of the Americas, in Florida. I was covering this international multi stage race in the early season, taken as a warm up for the European single day classics and then the major national stage races.

I had to decide how to expose the race, between stopping the action, or I chose to bring out the speed of the racers, while keeping the fans in the background visible.
