Hey guys! So here is my first sign of me slowly coming out of my disappearing act. At the moment I'm the process of writing a Xros Wars AU which takes a slightly darker tone to the anime we know and love.
The first thing I changed was the devices for this series, or more specifically the devices given to the Hunters in Season 3. I thought that was so cheep that they didn't bother given the Hunters a different type of device. While I love the season there were so many things that irritated me, Super Evolving coming so easily when Kirhia and Taiki went through so much through to get their's, Taiki basically being written out of the series to the point that Tagiru replaced him in the finale episode when he gets hurts and so much more.
Anyway I hope you guys enjoy them and don't judge them too hard.

Xros Loaders: A device that can only be used by the Chosen Generals who poses the Xros Code Crystals. The Xros Loaders can hold an unlimited amount of Digimon, the Code Crowns and finally the Trait Stones. It contains a Healing Program that can only be activated with a Zone's Code Crown and also an Upload Program which allows the Chosen Generals to activate the Digi-Memories. A process called DigiXros can be activated with the Xros Loaders and as long as the center Digimon is strong enough any amount of Digimon can be added to the DigiXros. Xros Loaders can only be used by a Chosen General and a Chosen General can only use their own Xros Loaders. When a Chosen General is either killed or they lose their will to fight the Xros Loaders will shut down and enter a Safe-Mode to stop it being used in the name of Darkness.

X-Device: The X-Devices while similar to the Xros Loaders have their own abilities and restrictions. The X-Device can only hold up to 10 Digimon at a time, the Hunters can only Reload 1 Digimon a time and as such can only DigiXros them with 1 other Digimon in their collection. They can only have 1 Partner Digimon and only that partner Digimon is given the ability to Evolve. The X-Device has a tracking system so the Chosen Hunters can find each other easily and it’s also has a communication system that can help the Chosen Hunters listen to the Chosen Generals orders. The X-Device can hold the Trait Stones but are not powerful enough to hold a Code Crown. The X-Devices can only be used by a Chosen General and no one else. Just like the Xros Loaders the X-Device has a safe-mode that activates when a Chosen Hunter is either killed or loses their will to fight.
