Our party was in the arena, when the monk was offered a wish if she betrayed the party, she took the deal, even down one we won the fight, before her newfound friend could come back to complete his end of things (the game is in a world where you ALMOST can't die) my character (the Hill Giant Barbarian) did not take the attempt to kill the party well. The betrayal caused him to see her as a hostile which in turn triggered his mental break where he sees all hostiles as members of the Aspis Consortium (an organization he HATES because of a blood feud that started when a member killed his grandfather) This scene actually played out in the game when the monk took off running after he tried to coup de grace the surrendering Monk (The GM ruled the surrendering Monk was not helpless.
