By the way, today when Plastic Man was the guest in Batman: Brave and the Bold (I know, it's a cartoon...) I couldn't help but compare him to Luffy. He's better overall, but Luffy has "The Manga Effect", so he's super-strong and fast.
The Manga Effect is that all characters gain a massive stat multiplier by being manga characters. For example, in Smash Bros, a Falcon Punch will probably instakill one player with decent damage. In the anime, it blew up half a galaxy.
