Description Colors inspired by kandinsky, composition inspired by Mondrian, those guys do really knew what they were doing.
there's a tree with yellowish leaves against a cerulean sky the ground is white because it gives birth to everything, therefore is composed of everything.

I instantly recognised this as a piece inspired by Mondrian. It's fantastic.

I can definately see the influence by Mondrian - I really like his tree pieces with the use of horizontal and vertical lines. I like how the colours have been placed with that cool blue in the middle seperated by a burning grade of red and what looks like a soothing mixture of white and browns at the bottom. And the lines and construction of the "tree" give it that extra dimension.

Nice work.

Bit late, but had nothing to do and saw this one in Eightoutsides favourites and I really like it too

Love the colours and you did a great job on the orange highlights. Only the reddish mixed part in the upper left looks a bit dirty, cause the other colours look very bright, but it is not that disturbing.

I tried to represent the upper side of the three, but now you say it, it really seems out of balance.

Thanx for the critics!!!

I still have a lot of doubts about color combination and composition, but you know! practice lead to improve your skills and confidence, just practice a lot and don't give up, every time you start a draw, paint or wathever, finish it, no matter what you get at the end.

I like the use of complementary colours and the swirled brushstrokes reflect the idea of the sky and the leaves in the tree. Did you use a marker pen for the black lines?
