Something like a re-do of this drawing -Not really a vent art, just an attempt to draw the same thing again and see what will happen.
But my monochrome and dark second page will get some new arrivals, I'm sure...

Definitely there's some emotional resonance here, I think the teeth and eyes look better on this one, but the fur was a bit better on the last one.
Though with this one I think it's a bit more focused on the emotion, as with the other one the variety of colors and complexity of detail kinda distracted from that.

I decided to leave the fur less detailed to draw more attention to eyes and teeth, not sure if it worked though.
Anyway, it's just the small sketch, mostly for showing an emotion, and I'm glad it's noticeable here.

I think it has the desired effect, as this has more focus on that aspect I think.
Indeed, I think it turned out well; I honestly have a hard time getting my characters to show such strong emotions, I think if they do it will probably be for one off scenes.
