That's the point. It's an oxymoron. There's actually a few of them in there. Like "One bright DAY in the middle of the NIGHT" I did it on purpose. Don't worry, it wasn't taken as mean, I understand how that could be confusing. The point of the poem is to make you vaguly uncomfortable.

i found out about it the other way around. saw the Silence during the season premier, then i found out about the slender man the other been. been fascinated with it ever since. also, yea, not sleeping again... ever
