HOLA!Summer is coming to and end and here's something fruity for the summer! An artist suggested/requested a fruit theme fashion sketch. And so ... I have granted that wish(?) well actually she had a good point and I found it interesting too.
I found it quite challenging. The world fruits immediately made me imagine them to be in fruit mascots and thats something I won't allow my models to wear waddling arround with big plum shape like mascots. LOL. Anyways, I know the heel there is random but there was this huge white spot in the middle and I just had to cover it up. That heel is a strawberry fuse kinda of thing 8D
My favorite designing here I believe is the red watermelon raincoat poncho! Oh, and yeaa ... the most elaborate and quite intricate is the teal color dress with types of different fruits on it!
Tell me which one is your favorite by indicating the color!

I like the strawberry one because of the hair accessory and creases in the dress- very realistic!
The bodice/top part of the dress is also pretty (:
With the apple one, I like the way the material drapes down onto the leg
and the way you drew her hair is lovely!
Overall, I would give this a rating of 'off the scale' 8D βͺ

Thanks so much for the feedback! I tried to make the strawberry dress a princess pop like and a very belieable strawberry dress.. which worked since you can tell its a strawberry xD
As for the apple one, I am not really knowledgable with fruits so apples came up to my mind and while thinking about apples, the story of Adam and Eve popped into my head. Have you heard of the story? So yea, the outfit somewhat got me inspired from that story. I'm so glad that you like the hair! I never thought the hair would come out like that! I'm impressed with the results as well. Also I'm very glad that you not only look at the outfit but the hairstyles and the heels as well!

I've heard of those characters but haven't really acknowledged
the full story. But I must say, you do draw hairstyles with
soft and elegant strokes (I can't remember the proper term > <)
and I wonder where you get all the hairstyles from xD
Of course! I look at everything when I see art c:
I normally look from top to bottom so when people draw people,
I look at the head, then the body and then the lower half of the body
until the legs and shoes! Very systematic xD

Until one day something happened! And yea. I just told you the happy part of the story since when I drew the outfit I was thinking about the happy part of the story. LOL
