Are you currently taking commissions? This picture has an uncanny resemblance to one of the main characters in my new book series.

Thank you very much! You know, digital painting is still new for me. Previously I did only Fedoskino miniature oil painting. It’s a very specific process. And even now I feel a bit confused when drawing on PC, but it's really interesting!

I guess fantastic artists can do any medium, seems to be the case with you anyhow. Truly fabulous art, I'd like to see you other forms too!
Do you use a Wacom or Ipad or something to draw? Which software do you use?

Thank you for your words!
About other forms..
I did lacquer miniature paintings VERY long ago. It has been nearly 8 years since I did it last time, almost nothing left. I have a few photos of my miniatures, but they are just copies of classic artists’ paintings. Here is an example of one of them - copy of Willem Claesz Heda’s “Breakfast with Lobster”, 19x19 cm. i.imgur.com/VOn6UvV.jpg
As for digital painting, I use Wacom Intuos Pen Small, it’s a small A6 tablet. I paint in Paint Tool SAI. I want to learn to paint in Photoshop, but I feel very uncomfortable there. However I do some minor adjustments and postprocessing in Photoshop.

*jaw drops* That painting is wonderful!
I have an Intuos too, I want a Cintiq though, so much! And I loooove PS, I understand the fear though, I only do graphic works and manips, no real art even with the tablet. That might change soon though. I've heard good things about SAI, and going by your standard I can see why! Have you tried Coral Painter at all?

I love PS too, well, when it concerns photography, but for some reason I can’t paint in it. But it has so many possibilities, all those brushes etc. Maybe someday I will switch to it or to Corel Painter. I’ve tried Corel Painter once, it’s a rather complicated program, but it has interesting brushes which are imitating analog materials. It’s really interesting.
SAI is very simple and it has some features that PS doesn’t have, and I’ve got used to them.
