In all of her grandeur there she was, Her Majesty Kirkjufell mountain, posing elegantly and creating endless awe in all her admirers. I trembled before such an incredible vision and, after bowing in humble reverence, tried to capture her the best I could.This is one of the photos made during the morning of the second day in Iceland, in my September 2014 trip. After having the honor of witnessing a fantastic Northern Lights display during the previous night, I still had to spend some more time in this incredible place during the morning, before heading to Hvitserkur. The weather was densely overcast, so it was a good opportunity for very long exposures and playing with shapes and reflections.
