Great Picture. It's beautiful how you got the emotions just right. Peter and Gwen were so right for each other. I thought that the book was sad and touching. You should really read Spider-man Blue it was really touching.
Too bad that Sins Past had to come out and try and ruin Gwen, but I just disregard that as a big marketing plot. It was cornily thrown together too aging twins, irony that 1st girlfriend and worst enemy make twins. It was way to farfetched.
But anyway great picture terriffic idea they look so in love.

thank you so much. and I've read spider-man blue and it was a very touching story. someone told me of sins past and I disreguard it also. gwen's personality would never allow that to happen and I was surprised that marvel let that writer wright such a story. it absolutly ruined what gwen stood for and for me she will forever stand for young unconditional love and innocence. maybe one of the reasons marvel won't let her come back like so many other's who have been killed. because they don't want to ruin what gwen is.

Β (I know this comment is over a decade old but what the heck).
Β Actually the writer of "Sins Past" wanted the story to be about Peter and Gwen's children. It was the editor, Joe Quesada, who insisted on the (ugh) Norman Osborn thing.
Β "for me she will forever stand for young unconditional love and innocence."
Β Me too. Well said.

heh I agree with everything you said. norman is just too gross and way too old. she would never do that. she was raised better. I mean come on her dad is a police officer... or was. marvel, if it hasn't now, needs to stop printing that book. and she will always be peter's first true love and peter will never forget her.

I think they should stamp it as a "What If" story since it didn't even fit in the old issues. Gwen never left New York for more than 1 month a few weeks at the most. Plus she would be pretty selfish to be mad at Peter for keeping secrets when she had twins without telling anybody. I agree her father was a really nice dad I read the death of the Stacys book.
Oh well Gwen rocks. I thought Bryce Dallas Howard was great in the movie. I was hoping for a deeper relationship than "he dates her a bit when he's bad" but still she was sweet and kind like in the comics.

Very nice. I was just wondering, which Spiderman book are you talking about? I've read many Spider books, but don't remember that quote.

Thanks. Have you read Spiderman Blue by Loeb and Sale? That was a particullarly sweet retelling of Gwen Stacy's death. I haven't read the Death of Gwen Stacy yet, though, I better check it out.

The death of Gwen Stacy, a beautiful mistake that will hopefully be equally touching and tragic in Spiderman 3.

heh maybe though her killer is kinda dead right now. I know norman comes back to life in the comics but we'll just see what happens in the movie. I'm kinda hopping she is still alive at the end. I'd like for the writers and director to at least give gwen some time so peoplecan come to like her as much as most of the people in the comic world. that's just so it won't look like she was jsut some girl who dated peter and then died cause gwen ment alot more to peter than 'just some girl'but like I said we'll see.

I think you're probably right. There already craming alot into Spiderman 3 with venom and the black suit andsandman and Harry, and the kitchen sink. But eventually, maby a couple movie down the road even, they'll have to kill her.

I thought so too MJ turned out to be a lot better than she was in the first 2. In the first 2 she was a skank who went through 3 guys leaving Harry severly destructive. Plu she almost married a guy just to make Peter jealous. I hated how she just ditched John Jameson at the alter that had to suck especially since JJ Jameson was paying for the whole thing.
But in the 3rd she really proved herself. I was like Mary Jane is really mature now I'm so glad she's not with a bunch of guys. But yeah I was rooting for Gwen/Peter to happen prior to seeing the movie. Bryce Dallas Howard was awesome and extremely sexy as Gwen.
