That's a nice story.
I think I would like to find a swift in my flat, but maybe it's better for them to be (and stay) outside.

Oh, this is so beautiful! I am not quite decided about Celegorm, although I am a staunch Fëanorian apologist, so I love Fëanor and all of his sons. There was a time when he was my least favourite, along with Curufin, mostly for what they did to Finrod, but... now I'm not so sure anymore. He certainly didn't have any luck with girls... and I think the Finrod debacle was more Curufin than Celegorm anyway, seems a bit out of character for Celegorm to sneak and backstab.
The image is lovely, I love the silver hair, which corresponds with my headcanon. His facial expression reminds me a little of certain saints in icons.

Thank you very much!
Debacle of Finrod? I think Finrod did himself everything for his debacle and the feanorings have nothing to do with this. He left the city, stopped fulfilling his duty, took up his personal affairs and personal salvation. Yes, he had obligations to Beren, but it's strange to relate his duty to his people and Beren's desire to marry successfully. But for Finrod, It was an opportunity to buy a direct ticket to Valinor, and he took it. And he further weakened Nargothrond, taking with him the most powerful knights. The brothers were only doing their duty, the duty of the older and more powerful knight to organize the defense of the city, abandoned to the fate of its king. Nargothrond was at the time a trap, not an advantageous pleasant kingdom, there was more sense in guerrilla warfare than in the defense of Nargothrond, but where were all the women and children to be? Tolkien himself writes, that father hysterical Finduilas could not fulfill this task. And Yes, the fact that Tolkien says that Celegorm shot in the back speaks more about Tolkien than about what really happened there.
And bad luck Celegorm with girls, I think, was carefully planned by Celegorm let unconsciously )

Oh gosh, this is so beautiful! And the swift is perfect. Was it in the Silmarilion that it said that Celegorm knows the language of birds and animals?

Thank you! I was sure it was in the Silmarillion, but I won't insist. Tolkien is such a thing that you never know how you know anything ))
But Celegorm generally amazing. At first, I liked him less than all of the sons of Feanor, he seemed the most "not an intellectual" of them. What's it? - hunter, running through the woods. But then I realized how much sensitivity and knowledge there is. Knowledge of plants, knowledge of animals, the ability to read traces, to predict the weather etc. From all the sons of Fëanor he more than anyone else from some mathematic have moved on to biology, to living systems.
And yet he is a "suicidally romantic rogue," as Christopher Marlowe said by Jim Jarmusch on the other the same character) He did offer to marry only those girls who absolutely refuse him) Is also a character))
