About the design and accessories:
The little squiggles on his wings represent the magical smoke rings he'd always blow. The underbelly looks a bit odd compared to what I would usually do, but it's supposed to represent his cape. He's also got little icicles on his chin, like almost like a beard. For the accessories, he has the wizard hat, glowing staff (of course!), a sword strapped to his back, and a carrying pouch.
And of course he's guarding a passage! (You cannot pass of course)
