A digital painting of Jaejoong Kim from their Rising Sun album. I used cloud brushes (sorry, I couldn't find the credit for these) in the background. I tried about 5 different backgrounds before I decided on this one. I guess the overall mood of this painting is sorta melancholy. Yeahhhh, his hand looks weird and I made everything sharp at the end, because I like the way that looks.

i love your plays on textures here, usually you go crazy with doing detailed every-stroke of the hair, but this time its more of a solid color which gives our eyes a nice rest and compliments the very smeary effect of the skin which isnt quite sketchy but not all the way blended and its verrrry nice. i love the simple white hairs to break up the larger pieces as well
