Talus; a part of the ankle joint. Responsible for balance and walking on uneven surfaces, withstanding and transmitting the entire weight of the body, and joining the foot to the body.

Charles' bone gives him a boost that is essential to his fighting. His talus is enhanced so that it is extremely durable and gives him excellent balance. He can walk on almost any uneven surface, as long as it's solid. So yes, he will casually walk on a tightrope and do a little dance on it, if you want him to. As long as one of his feet are on a surface, he will stay put. No, he can't walk on water or hang upside down sdlkfalsls
Because his ossa is responsible for withstanding pressure, Charles is also able to jump from any incredibly high height, and land perfectly without taking any damage. Well-- as long as he lands on his feet
If he lands on anything else but his feet, he's in trouble.
He's also very quick and kicks hard. But because of this, he has close to no upper body strength.

Weapon/Fighting Style:
Charles prefers to climb up to random high places, jump, and land on his victims. However, most of the time, he isn't blessed with the proper setup for that, so he usually just runs up to people and kicks them.

Main Weapon:
Weighted boots
-His boots have his ossa inserted into it. On Charles’ command, they can become incredibly heavy, strong, and quick (because Charles has leg strength). Have you ever been slapped in the face with a slab of thick metal? ...I didn't think so. But you could imagine that would hurt, right? And you wouldn't get slapped once, but multiple times.
His feet also change in appearance a little when he uses this weapon, but he never removes his boots when he's fighting-- so you probably won't see the change.
The weight also helps keep him upright if he's falling.

Sub. Weapon
Dagger -> alternatively a manual grapple hook
In case of emergencies, where his feet are unavailable for use, Charles will use the dagger that he stores in his vest (left inner-pocket).
The guard of this dagger is a grapple hook. To make it a fully-usable grapple hook, he simply sheaths the blade part and extends the chain part. The grapple is fairly small, but indestructible. It will hold any kind of pressure. This is part of his ossa’s power.
The more pressure that is on the grapple, the shorter the chain will get.

Backstory:
Charles and his brother had an almost-perfect life when they were growing up. Their family was close, but very reserved because both parents were embarrassed that neither of their sons inherited any powers.
When Charles' brother turned 16, he began to show some signs of having powers. Overjoyed, their parents let them go outside to play. They were happy, as always, for another year.
But then, their parents passed away for a reason they still do not know of today. Charles found his father's body and before running outside and screaming through tears, the power of his father's ossa merged into him.
At 18 years old, Charles and his brother both had powers. They had the house to themselves, and then ran around and caused trouble like they usually did. With their new powers it was extra fun--! But the fun stopped when strange people came to their doors and told them that they needed to join organizations. Because of the difference in their powers, Charles was told that he had to be sent to Bionic, while his brother had to go to a place called Hazardous. Charles was told that the group that was somewhat linked to Bionic. Not knowing any better, or having any choice, he agreed. The two brothers pulled off one, last epic handshake, and ended it with a hug.

"Don't worry Valen! These groups are associated with each other! We'll see each other again soon."
"...You sure..?"
"Yeah, bro. Promise."
"Promise?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. It's a promise!"
A single, strong high five. They turn on their heels, walk, and then they are gone.

Ever since then, Charles has been excited and happy, because he eagerly awaits meeting his brother again. Since it was a promise, he doesn't have a single doubt that Valen has had any issues within the past three years. He believes his brother to be the strongest, coolest, and best person he knows-- so nothing could possibly go wrong, right?
