The Festival was on, but there was no laughter. Candles were lit, but there was no joy. The music was playing, but no-one was dancing. Instead kukuris from far and wide traveled to their usual festival area to spend a very different event this time. Death's death had impacted every kukuri, even those who didn't see it happen. But suddenly it felt all too real, when they placed their memorials to altar in sorrow and wondered who would guide their souls to afterlife now? How this would impact the world?

Last minute entries are best motivators to finish pics. I'm not entirely happy how rushed this looks, but on the other hand it looks more depressing with it. I still don't get over it how tiny Karhunkarva is compared to her mate. And yes, Riekko has Death plushie. It is just hard to enjoy it when the real one is dead.

The atmosphere at the statue was heavy. The candle lights brought warm light, yet there was no light on the kukuris and their handler's hearts. A tiny feather found it's way to kukuris, like a message from the Death herself, that not all hope is lost.
