Description
A Dancer’s Feet. These feet belong to ballet dancer Paloma Herrera. I wish I had done this larger, but this was started as a part of a “Studio Walk” here In Edmonds WA, and space was limited. It is 12”X24” acrylic on gesso board.Related content

Those feet are absolutely beautiful!
And it's very interesting, because those wings on her ankle don't look out of place. Doing something like that is very hard.

This reminds me of some old 7-Up commercials and other advertising from the 1970s (including a cosmetic lkine sold in health food stores whose name I no longer recall). It's certainly reminiscent of Art Nouveau but more so the 70s mix of deco and nouveau. Very interesting.
