A trooper with a melee weapon, pretty nice. Love to see the same done to some Rebel Alliance type soldiers.

i always felt it was a limitation of the class that they didn't have a melee style attack or a weapon.Β I didn't get very high with my trooper however so for all i know they do.

I do tend to agree, as i quickly fell out of love with ToR. A major contributor were the costume options you had as both a Bounty Hunter and a Trooper.Β Many of them looked very much like a what happens when i child wants a custom actionfigure and all they do is glue more guns and garbage to a base figure. i cant think of many top level gear choices that didn't have spikes or plates or huge tubes jutting out all willy nilly. Ugh... not for me.
OH and i hate that every single thing in the game could knock you off your speeder if it just looked at you.

Oh, I love this drawing. I'm really excited about playing a Trooper in the Old Republic myself. I'm not sure how extensive their melee arsenal is going to be, but I like the sword you put into the drawing, if only because they were pretty common even on "normal" soldiers in the first game

Same, though I may hold off on making one my first character ironically enough. I'm pretty sure I'll want to roleplay said trooper so I'd rather not have to repeat the first few hours of gamplay over and over again just to try and figure out which server I can do that in
