Does the shadow go over the flat color, or does the flat color go over the shadow? and I assume you use a multiply effect for..whichever one does go on the top?

*A* / i ask i ask!
what shadows color you use and what layer style for that shadows!?

Javas In reply to Dannu-kun [2013-08-15 10:35:59 +0000 UTC]
I dont use the same everytime, but the most generic for me would be a desaturated purple. I set it in multiply mode ^^Β

very cool art and very good tutorial! Thanks!
Quick question tho, regarding the shadows layer. Do you use plain black and a certain blending layer style? If so which one?

Javas In reply to larsloenstrup [2013-05-27 10:13:34 +0000 UTC]
I never use black or grey, always I use some color for the shadows wich I set in multiply mode. Once you overlay some layers, you get black only at the darker places. thanks mang

Muppo In reply to Javas [2013-08-25 20:41:26 +0000 UTC]
But you can work on grey scales either, then modify it with hue and saturation in order to get cold or warm tones. Isn't it?
Anyway, love the final art.
