I really just wanted to play around, have fun and not worry about accuracy when doing this. So I didn't really do a sketch underneath I just kind of went for it.

I'm taking a break from digital painting because I was starting to feel kind of ...detached? I wanted something tangible and decided to mess around with my watercolour paints again. While painting this I realised that some of the techniques that I had learnt from doing digital paintings could be used in my watercolours. Its quite interesting how knowledge from a different medium can kind of feed and affect how you use others.
