I definitely wanted a Dragon/Fighting type fakemon. The idea of making the wings double as fists is pretty old - I thought of that months ago and Lugia is even older.
However, I never really got an idea for a cool overall design.
I finally decided on a ninja/assassin approach with a blue cloak and scarf. Since it became pretty colorful, I decided to make its head parrot-like and give it feathers instead of scales, even tough that detail only is mentioned in the pokedex.
Hattori Hanzo was a ninja that served under Tokugawa Ieyasu and worked in the counter intelligence corps btw.
I plan to add a pre-evo too.
