I love Outlaw Star. I'm still sad the Logical Third Show in the Towards Stars Universe never got made, to my knowledge.
(Early on, there's some exposition that there's three major powers in the setting: The Space Pirates, the Space Forces (like Angel Lynx), and the Outlaws. There was a series about an Outlaw, and a series about a Space Force (with a crossover episode, to boot), so logically at some point one could hope there would have been a third series based on a Space Pirate of some flavor as a protagonist instead of just yet another colorful, quirky antagonist.)
Ah well. I shall merely have to content myself with fond memories and fine fanart.

I honestly don't remember it that fondly, alas. I still think fondly of Outlaw Star from time to time, but Angel Links was always 'oh, that other show kinda in the same setting. ...I don't remember much about it beyond 'lizard fighter guy is cool when he's in Outlaw Star''
