History

Johnny Schizo is a monster. He was known as "Hell Maw" because of his choice of weapon, a massive double-ended chainsaw. He used to be a mass murderer, causing pandemonium and hysteria from city to city,killing off all heroes who dared to challenge him.
In the end, Johnny had lost count of how many would-be do-gooders he slaughtered, but he claims he lost count in the 200's, but his kill count is estimated to reach well into the 600's. With no worthy opponent he now he lives retired, in hiding from the world that despises him so. He spends his time maintaining his body's delicate homeostasis, fixing his chainsaw and just staying out of plain sight... until that is, he wants to have some fun.

Personality

Johnny is completely laid back, spending most of his time lounging about. He is easily irritated by what he perceives people acting as though they're familiar with him, thus he sometimes shirks at the thought of establishing grounded relationships, due to his paranoia of people's intentions. He can get competitive at times.
He often displays bizarre habits, such as tying the ends of used tooth floss together, or constantly pacing. His OCD seems to be based upon the motif of continuity or never-ending. He also seems to be preoccupied with the idea of "efficiency".
Despite his relatively easy personality, Johnny is 250% criminally insane. Other crazy people like him can identify who he is immediately just by looking into his monster-soul eyes, in fact Johnny himself has a bit of a monstrous personality hidden underneath his calm, aloof exterior.
To control himself, Johnny habitually smokes a powerful opioid through a pipe to keep himself calm. When he ceases to smoke the opioid for some time, he'll begin to unleash his monster, a crazed, hyper-active lunatic of a side that revels in killing and the joy of battle.
Johnny does his best to try and enjoy a "normal" human life, however he often gets mixed up with local gangs in order to get his hands on some sweet sweet drugs.

Abilities
-regeneration
Johnny possesses near-perfect regeneration. A mortal wound dealt to him can be healed in mere seconds. If he become decapitated, either his body will regenerate a new head if his old head gets destroyed, or his body and head would reconnect when brought back together, or his head will slowly regenerate a new body (albeit slowly due to lack of necessary nutrients a head has to create a new body) if the body is completely destroyed. Harm will cause him to relapse into his monstrous personality faster.

Random Mutation
Johnny depends on a weekly cocktail of homemade drugs to keep his body from mutating out of control. When Johnny fails to procure his necessary intake on time or if his weekly remedy was created from impure ingredients, he will begin to experience random mutations, often dramatic. These mutations can be used to his advantage in battle, though his monstrous personality is able to surface easily if the mutation affects his brain. In which case he will mutate into his Destroyer form.

Destroyer form
Johnny loses all control and becomes an unstoppable monster.

Weapon
Johnny weilds a double-ended chainsaw thats designed to mow down large groups of people. Johnny doesn't use the chainsaw for this function anymore (since he retired being a monster). The Chainsaw is covered in armor plating to protect the mechanized parts of the chainsaw, but can also be used as a shield or a bludgeon. The chainsaw then extends to its full length of 7 feet. The chainsaw is also capable of "sliding", which means sliding the blades of the chainsaw to one side to make one side longer (though this conversely makes the other side shorter).
The chainsaw must be constantly maintained to keep it in optimum working conditions.
