For this picture, I blended a TT scale (1:120) model railroad scene of freight trains passing a level crossing into a virtual environment made of edited screenshots from two different computer games. For the foreground, I used a screenshot of the computer game 'Homefront: The Revolution'. The original screenshot was provided by in-game photographer Xanvast (www.flickr.com/photos/xanvast/ ). The building in the background behind the model scene is from the game 'The Division'. That screenshot was provided by Anthemios (www.flickr.com/photos/83889674… ).Related content

The crossbucks look like they're floating in midair and independent of poles!
Funny, yesterday I dreamed about crossing gate signals at an underpass! They were quite pointless though because they were guarding an underpass, not an actual grade crossing! The trains were passing OVER the road, not at the road, that's nothing to stop cars from! That might as well have just been an actual grade crossing! But we all dream lots of silly things!
