Did not forget about u, deviantartI downloaded a free trial of Photoshop CS6, got motivated to draw again.
Some tumblr people had issues with this... I don't think I misrepresented Snape here though

I can't agree with people who think Snape will not be that shallow. Because we have to remember that Snape only turned better after Lily's life's in danger. If lily married to Snape instead of James, then there would not be Harry the chosen one and Lily's life would be peaceful and safe. In that case, I can't see the chance for Snape to get away from the death eaters. I remember he kept being friends with some evil death eaters like Mulciber after Lily's repeated requests in order of phoenix. I don't deny Snape to be a great man after all. But this shallow nature of his before Lily's death is what drove Lily away in their school days. The whole point of Jily is that James changed for Lily but Snape chose the dark art. So, I'm totally agree with julvett. You did such a great job! Thank you so much for this.

First of all, I love your art amd you have great sense of humour.Β
Secondly, sorry, but I think you did misinterpret Snape here.Β
Overall, in all your arts he is usually depicted as obsessive, unlikable guy which he is not. I think that while Snape would npt be like James but he would definitely do his best to make her happy. Think about it.
P.S.
I personally think that James is depicted as less of arrogant snot in his younger days by you. Jist my personal opinion, but I don't really like the character even though he "changed" over the years. Honestly, the argument about him maturing is one I really hate. His fans often go and say that he has become a better person and all but they always forget that he was pretty much like Draco only without disdain to mudbloods and half-bloods.Β

ACCURATE.
I ship Lily/Snape AND Lily/James but this--THIS. It's so perfectly represented I slow applauded in my living room. Snape loves her deeply but that doesn't necessarily mean that he would've made a good life-partner. Sad to admit, but it's true.

in honesty, if he would have gotten lily, he wouldn't have ever worked for Voldemort, the only reason he did was because he felt like he couldn't get lily and had never accomplished anything in his life, so he wanted to be a part of something big! Β but JK Rowling says in interviews that given the chance to re live his life he would not have joined the death eaters.
