Will Mend Our Hearts Foreverlately i've been infatuated with bugs on plants, if you haven't noticed
i suppose this isn't too different than some of my other flower shots, with the exception of the spider. but I thought it was too cool to not upload. I didn't even see the spider until I looked at first few pics I took of the floweralso trying a new file size, I don't like uploading high quality images here anymore in fear of theft

What a fantastic capture. The composition and lighting is just sublime. The way the stem of the flower is lit leading you up to that cobweb and the spider, apparently taking a nap, and then that beautiful flower head against that hazy blue sky is simply stunning.

How do you adjust your camera to take pictures of something so delicate as a spider's web? I've tried several times (with a mediocre digital camera, mind you), but I can never seem to catch the light from them...

well it took a lot of shots haha. i mean i do that anyway, i take wayyyyyyy too many shots of the same thing so i can get at least one good picture. just requires a lot of patience and HDD space haha. thank you

Don't even the professionals take so many pictures at once, though? ^^ Sometimes you won't be trying to get something, but the camera will capture something by chance, and you don't realize what a jewel you've got until you go back through them. :3
