Here, you've got some nice shadowing and highlights going on from the light coming all on one side. Just watch your highlights- unless you want a blown-out effect.

Curious about the cam you're using, lighting, and remote or self timer. Note me if you'd like to talk more about techniques and such. I'm no expert, for sure, but I've a bit of experience.
