Description This is my final piece in the series of three depicting the story of Persephone and Hades.
The second one can be found here.... [link]
I started and finished this one yesterday so I could get the printed today, yay for crunch time!
This scene isn't included in the myth but it is Hades crowning Persephone Queen of the Underworld
Much of what influenced my love for this story was [link] 's rendition of the myth. She got that one published and is certainly worth looking it up [link]

Cool! I love the pomegranate inset in the border. I like how the border subtly changes for each picture. Persephone's look seems well adapted to show her as Queen of the Underworld without visually losing her other world as maiden of spring. Great series!!!

Thank you! This was my favorite Persephone to do.

Huh. She does have an interesting take on it, neh?
Considering how anxious you were about this third part... Actually, that's not a good way to start. "Considering" nothing. You are talented and it shows! This is a gorgeous piece. I noticed the pomegranate colors in her veil and sash before I even saw them in the border and thought it was perfectly suited! I really like the way you silhouetted the creatures of the underworld and the spirits of the dead in the background so the focus wouldn't be drawn away from Persephone and Hades. Looove the shading on their necks, too! Oddly enough, I think that's my favorite part!

..... Are you sure you're not a vampire? I mean you have loved the necks on a couple of my pieces... Just kidding! Thank you so much, it is quite the compliment coming from you. I still am anxious about this one and it's finished
