I'M NO STRANGER TO BELLS! COW BELLS, DOOR BELLS, BLUE BELLS, I'VE RUNG THEM ALL. AFTER I SANG JINGLE BELLS 13 TIMES DURING MY LAST APPOINTMENT, MY CHIROPRACTOR CONVINCED ME THAT I HAD A PROBLEM.

Oh, the ringing stopped.

She suggested I practice exposure therapy. Which, it turns out, doesn't involve taking off your pants in public. My arresting officer explained the difference. The idea is to expose yourself to the subject of your obsession, in my case, knockers, clappers and ring a ding dings. Again, your pants stay on. It's all about experiencing the temptation without succumbing. So, find a bell but don't ring it. Easy enough or so I thought.

Not being one to shy from a challenge, I located the biggest bell I could find. High above an abandoned abbey, nestling in the crumbling belfry, it sat. It was 30 feet tall, graceful shoulders, slender waist and broad mouth, the clapper was bigger than my head. Truly a thing of beauty. But I didn't ring it. I didn't even touch it. I spent so much time not touching it that I eventually fell asleep.

Little did I realize, the local priest liked to trek 23 miles every morning just to greet the morn with a sneaky ding dong. It took 5 weeks for the ringing to stop and after that I was cured. On that day I threw out my entire collection of 812 antique, solid gold dinner bells, abandoned by girlfriend, Bella, and cancelled my subscription to Knockers, Knockers, Knockers. And I have never been tempted to look at another bell, much less ring one, ever since.

OH CRAP, THE RINGING IS BACK!

I was originally apprehensive about this one, because I originally envisioned way more bells. But then I realized that I didn't need to draw 20+ bells, just a few would be enough. And I think it looks better this way too.
I also really like how the red works for the bells, and it is only now that I am writing this that I realize why. They kind of look similar to the style of an 80's/90's children cartoon advertisement. I can't specifically remember which one. Also has a bit of a Mister/Miss series cartoon style.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
