In terms of design and philosophy, what would make architecture Neo-Islamic, as opposed to traditional Islamic?

it's a similar concept to postmodern architecture
but with one minor difference that it doesnt only abstract the form elements that define the islamic architecture, but it also mimics the concept of privacy and space handling as old traditional islamic homes
for example having a majlis like a living room for male guests with it's own entrance and a women's majlis too + a normal family living and lots of other design constrictions XD
