I've put up a poll on renders, I use Mental Ray and I think I have it down.
A lot of people have been suggesting Vray and I am pretty curious. Would
like to know what you think of Vray?

thank you, ur work is pretty amazing btw materials and renders, I'm not a frequent user of mental ray last time i used it was years ago so am in no position to make a fair comparison between both, but from what i know vray can be customized in every detail more flexible than mental ray kinda like the difference between linux and windows, but in the end the results are near so use he one you find easier to manage and if ur a mental ray user i recommend Iray it's AMAZING

of Iray and it does look pretty awesome although I love
the results I've seen Vray can do and they are the kind
of results I want. I think its the more flexible options
with Vray that also appeal. Might have to change to the
dark side.

well i used vray fur on a square plane then converted it into vrayproxy coz it was makin the file heavy like crazy and duplicated the plane on the covered ground hope that came of any hep 2 u
